Nestled beneath the rich canopy of the woodland garden, Rob Mulholland’s ghostly ‘Reflection’ slowly comes into focus as you begin to follow Standon Stream. Are they clear or a reflection? There is only one way to find out……

Stunning life size figures immaculately created from mirror polished stainless steel, Mulholland’s installations seek to explore and challenge the complex relationship we as humans have with the natural world around us. The lightly distorted surface invites the viewer to question their own individual relationship with their surroundings as the reflections twist and change with movement.

Exhibiting throughout the UK and worldwide through both public and private commissions, the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden are thrilled to be exhibiting Rob Mulholland’s ‘Reflection’ for the 2022 season. After the success and popularity of the previous installation ‘Encounter’, we are very much enjoying how the changing seasons, light and weather dramatically alters these seemingly simple figures.
