Launched in summer 2022, The Indoor Gallery seeks to celebrate a new collection of smaller sculpture, ceramics, and pieces too delicate to be displayed outside.

Out of the ashes of tragedy, something beautiful has grown.

In 2021, when work was already underway on our new project, Hannah Peschar herself sadly passed away. Hannah’s enduring passion for the arts will continue in her legacy - and thus, The Indoor Gallery was born. Designed and meticulously created by her husband - the renowned landscape designer Anthony Paul - the newest addition to the Sculpture Garden is jointly curated by Anthony Paul and Vikki Leedham, manager of the Sculpture Garden.

Nestled and raised against the trees, the approach to The Indoor Gallery leads across a woodland bridge - entering the peaceful space with light streaming from high windows. Challenging the stereotypes of ‘traditional galleries’, there are no white walls or a stark, sterile environment. Instead, soft grey hues, warm wood furniture (created from timber taken from our own trees), and calming lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere.
