Join us at The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, a hidden gem nestled in the Surrey countryside, as we celebrate our 40th anniversary with a special Sculpture Network gathering.
We invite you to take part in this exclusive event, which includes a guided tour of the garden with curator Vikki Leedham, along with special insights from two of our highly regarded Dutch exhibiting artists, Riëlle Beekmans and Yke Prins. You'll discover the stories behind our unique landscape and have the chance to visit 'The Indoor Gallery', our purpose-built exhibition space within the grounds.
Event Programme (weather permitting):
3:00pm: Welcome with coffee and an introductory talk by Vikki Leedham, co-curator and gallery manager.
3:30pm - 5:00pm: Guided walk through select areas of the garden, focusing on a variety of artists, styles, materials, and themes. Dutch sculptors and Sculpture Network members Yke Prins and Riëlle Beekmans will offer short talks on their works featured in the exhibition.
5:00pm: Return to 'The Indoor Gallery' for further refreshments and networking opportunities.
5:30pm: Event concludes.
In the event of poor weather, guests are invited to explore the garden at their own pace between 3:30pm and 4:30pm, followed by slide-accompanied talks by Yke Prins and Riëlle Beekmans in 'The Indoor Gallery'.
Anthony Paul, co-curator and garden owner, will also join us later in the afternoon to share insights into the garden's history and landscape design.
Networking will be available throughout the afternoon, with opportunities in covered areas and 'The Indoor Gallery'.
